Club Dinner-Friday 24th November 2006 at Glossop Golf Club
The Golf Club proved to be a great success as a new venue - excellent food and a pleasant relaxed atmosphere - the wine flowed, Brucie Wigster was in fine form, the speeches hit their usual targets and the dancing reflected the amount of alcohol consumed-congratulations to everybody who won trophies, especially Peter Brightmore who won the prized James Little Trophy and thanks to all the staff at the Golf Club for providing a memorable evening.

Bonfire Friday - 3rd November at 6.30pm  - Phew what a scorcher!! - the biggest blaze since Jared burnt his kit. Fantastic fireworks and the Stansfield Catering Service delivering its usual excellent range of cuisine!

Saturday 16th September - End of Season Do,
...music,a website quiz and Play Your Cards Right with Brucie Wigster and Big Money !!

Karaoke Night-Saturday 12th August in the Club - to celebrate Mike Brightmore's forthcoming Nuptials !!

Mergie sang like a dream, Seville like a nightmare. Akei and Adie continued their battle for Karaoke King, with Fran and Lisa T starring for the Ladies. The usual array of sparkling entertainment ensured that Mike's new bride will not forget her first night at the club in a hurry!!

Pub six a side 23rd July - a great family day in the sun- record takings on the bar and BBQ. Congratulations to the imaginatively named Dan Carter's Team (managed by Dan Carter!) who won not only the cricket but also the Penalty Shoot-out Competition. Hard luck to the Grapes who reached the final, and thanks to all who took part or helped on the day.

Sunday 25th June 2006 - England v Ecuador - Where else could you watch a Ladies cricket match and the World Cup at the same time-unfortunately again the food was better than the football-Hazel's beef muffins hit the spot much better than Frank Lampard.

Tuesday 20th June 2006 - England v Sweden A good first half, lousy second half but hazel's pies saved the day !

Karaoke Evening on 27th May

A cracking event with the usual array of talent-Akie,Matt Coleman,The Elliott Ladies,etc-but Mr and Mrs Adie were impressive newcomers, and Tamara Logan stole the show with Titanic-so good the room started tilting!

The first event of the season was on 22nd April, with the usual entertaining performance from Clearview. Watch this space for other events coming shortly.
